Manchester United manager David Moyes knows that he has to start rebuilding the team as soon as the January transfer window opens and Leighton Baines will be his priority target.
News has emerged from France that Monaco and possibly PSG are ready to offer Patrice Evra a final big payday in an attempt to persuade the United left-back to move in January.
The deal which is rumoured to be worth £31.2m spread over a four year contract period, will offer a weekly wage of around £150,000 with a signing-on fee of £5m. Both Monaco and PSG are said to have offered almost identical bids for the player and it is up to Evra which club he chooses.
